Advertising for a new product can be quite a bit different from advertising for something that has been around for a while. The way you phrase things and the kind of images you use are going to be distinctly different when marketing for new products, and to get the most out of your marketing you need to know what these differences are.
The first has to do with describing your product, and this part can be a little tricky. They might not know all the details about what makes your particular product better, but they know the type of product.

That’s the idea you need to greatly emphasize no matter what kind of marketing material you’re using. If you’re using shorter forms of marketing than get to the point quickly about specific things that are going to change in a person’s life if they buy your product.
Something else to consider as well is that for new products you want to definitely have a core message you can use with all of your marketing. Don’t alter the approach you take to marketing your product depending on what type of medium you’re using. Make sure every single advertisement you send out has the same overall idea or theme in them. This will help to spread your core message and do a better job of getting people interested in a your new product.
