Baby jumpers and bouncers can be a lifesaver if you need some time to do things around the house. They are also a great way for the children to play for 45 minutes to an hour in some cases, allowing you to get a few things done or bit of peace and quiet.
For instance, say the phone rings or client has to come by the house or the office we simply put the baby in the baby bouncer. Bouncers and playpens offer a great way for the baby to spend time playing with many of the different toys located in the bouncer. Ours has all types of sounds, doors and book pages that turn and also an apple that pops up like a Jack-in-the-Box. It literally can provide hours and hours of entertainment and has proved invaluable in helping us get things done like chores.

As a parent of two children, I know it can be tough at times and loving in others. The bouncers have helped our stress levels for sure. The other aspect I like is that it keeps our children away from all the electronic gadgets out there today. I have seen kids on iphones, ipads and watching TV for three hours a day. Incredible as it may seem this is not for my kids and the bouncers occupy them with sensible activities and they don't get over stimulated.
After a few months though, your child may get bored of his wonderful baby bouncer and cry before being place inside. If this happens you need to switch bouncers. So start with the Graco Pack n Play and then switch to the Chicco LX and then maybe the Exersaucer to keep them from being bored and crying. They are easy to resell on craigslist or ebay or just give to a friend. So go out and get your child a new bouncer today.
