Stickers especially the bumper stickers have been around now for quite sometime now. Most historians are unsure when these materials were first used and invented. However, because of the fact that these materials are especially designed and created to attach to bumpers of vehicles, it is safe to assume that these things were invented much earlier.
Most expert historians agree that Henry ford was the inventor of vehicles. The very first vehicle to be made by the Ford motor was the model T in the late 1900’s. And given this very reliable detail or information, it is safe to assume that stickers such as the bumper stickers were invented on the same era a short time later. This makes them around a century old. The longevity of these materials can be attributed to the fact that they are not an aggressive way for people to speak their own opinions and interests.

There are actually different uses of stickers. One of them is to show affiliation to a certain organization or political group. Moreover, there are also many people that even go further and use them to show off their support for a specific group or people. Another good way that people use these materials is to use them as identification that a certain vehicle has permission to be on a particular place or location. For example, many school institutions all over the world provide all their students especially those who have cars with stickers so that school securities knows that a specific vehicle has the right to park in a certain location. Other locations or establishment such as offices can also provide their employees with such material so that all their employees who have their own vehicles can park on the parking space provided by the office. Therefore, stickers especially bumper stickers are in fact very effective when well utilized.
