Many business owners think that they need a tri-fold brochure or something more expensive to be successful in business. If they don’t have this, they might as be not in business.

This idea is, however, wrong. To succeed in business, you need not have expensive brochures, but rather all you need is a simple yet unique material. People have to know how you are different from your competitors, and a typical tri-fold brochure won’t make you different but rather the same as others.

If you want to create the most effective and unique brochure at the least expense, here are the important information and format you need to consider.

• Use a pocket folder. A pocket folder with your brochure can help you send your message to your potential customers that you are in business. This doesn’t cost much, but can be used for different purposes.
• Use a template. The template you will use should be a professionally designed that will carry your contact information, message, and logo in a distinct and memorable manner. Aside from the basic information, your template can also contain the following:

- The benefits. Tell your target customers how you different you are by enumerating the benefits of your business. This will them see if what you offer meets their need.
- List your services. Of course, you need to tell your prospects what you do and offer.
- Testimonials. One good way to get people’s attention is to put testimonials from past customers. Ask them what they think of your service and include it in your brochure printing. This will help encourage people to consider you over your competitors.
- The logo. If you don’t have the skill and knowledge to design your own logo, hire a graphic designer. Tell your customers what should be included in the logo and the image you want to convey to your customers to ensure the designer creates a design that will fit with your business.
- Describe the process. Tell your customers what you really do. You can make a detailed checklist that will tell them how you fulfill your promise. You can do this anyway you want, but make sure that you make your prospects a part of the process to make them feel you value them. Doing this will also help explain to your customers the price rates for your products and services. A lot of people miscalculate the things that goes into delivering goods or service. So show them.
- Tell your story. Your business can have a bizarre or interesting history. Tell it in an honest and entertaining manner to your customers and you will likely win their hearts. Keep in mind that people are more likely to respond to a material that has a story, much more if they are able to relate to the tale.

All the above pointers can help you create a unique brochure. Be sure to create a good design and use the right template, and you are sure create a unique and magnificent marketing brochure.

But remember that in creating a brochure, you need to research first. By defining what your material should do, it can be efficient, useful, and attract people’s attention in the most effective manner. Pay close attention to details and you can have a brochure that represents your business.
