Since decades the only source of energy has been fossil fuel which is exhaustible. Hence they need to be preserved. The solar system has come up as the best and cheapest alternative for fossil fuels.
The main source of the solar panel is the sunlight which is present in abundance and is free of cost. The solar panel basically captures the sunlight and harnesses it when sun rays fall on the panel. It converts the solar energy into heat energy through a simple mechanism for practical use.

The villagers are being taught how to use solar energy for cooking food and other small needs so that the forests can be protected from being cut.

These have also been converted into chargers so that the solar energy can be stored and used later at night as there is no sunlight during night.
