One of our favorite looks this season is the look of split neck tunic tops. You may see them described as split v tops and you may see them in a variety of different styles, patterns and fabrics. Ranging from cottons to nylon fabrics and in solid colors or patterned or with embroidery detail consider the following examples of some great split neck tunic tops for your wardrobe.

Let’s start with the simple, but essential ¾ Sleeve Split V top from Zooey by Alice Heller. This classic split v top is made from 100% supima cotton so it is ultra soft and with a split v neckline this tunic style top fits a bit loosely and hits just at the hips. Available in a variety of fabrics this tunic top is a great anywhere top. You can also layer it over tanks and of course this top looks great with jeans.

Split neck tunic tops of course don’t just come in basics; you’ll find great stylish split v tunic tops loaded with details too. Consider the Diva V Neck Tunic by designer AlixK that includes a beautiful design that is hand embroidered in a colorful feather pattern. The embroidery detail is really distinctive and beautiful giving this top an elegant look. This top is sure to make your friends ask “where did you get that?” Of course it still features the elegant split neckline and the length hits below the hips. This top is made from a cotton silk blend and this tunic top features satin around the hem and cuffs of the sleeves. A great feature of this cotton silk fabric blend is that it is still machine washable which makes this top even more versatile and comfortable to wear.

Finally consider another distinctive spin on the split neck tunic top, the short sleeve Front Yoke top from Sweet Pea by Stacy Frati. Accompanied by a beautiful pattern featuring a mix of pink, purple, melon (light orange), and even a hint of blue all contrasted by black down the center of the top and accenting the ruffled sleeves. This tunic top features a length just below the hips and is made from Sweet Pea’s signature nylon mesh fabric giving this top a great fit. The nylon mesh fabric is easy to care for and so comfortable to wear.

In short, all three of these examples of great split neck tunic tops give you a variety of ways to wear the same basic neckline featured with different patterns, styles and details. Despite all of these distinctions all three of these tops feature great individual style, comfort and wearability. You’ll notice that the distinctive look of each of these tops still incorporates the same basic style with unique accents or details. This style of tunic top is not necessarily something you see everyday and when combined with their added details you won’t find these tops just anywhere which is what we love to find at Vintage Fringe statement piece tops that give you the ability to create a distinctive style for yourself.
