Follow your gut when trying to find a good nursing home fit for your senior loved one, also evaluate payment plans, the nursing home services, and the location.
Placing your senior loved one into an Alzheimer’s disease care facility will seem hard at first, but always remember that you want your loved one to be safe at all times from harming themselves and others. You may feel guilty about your decision to place the senior into a care facility, and this feeling is normal, however, you are helping them and not hurting them. You cannot always watch over your aging senior, and care facilities allow the chance to care for your senior loved one when you no longer can do so.
