Clear Cache For Faster Browsing And Protect Your Privacy

Your web browser stores everything on your computer when you explore the Internet and access Web pages, files, images and other downloaded content. These are known as temporary Internet files which occupy a lot of your computer’s hard drive and make the computer perform sluggishly. You should clear your cache in a regular basis mainly for two reasons. This is to free up space on your PC and to save yourself from falling prey to cyber criminals.

Clearing your caches make your Web browser to function most efficiently. Besides, at your home many share the same computer and you may not want others to see where you have browsed. More importantly if you are using a public computer like in a cyber café, or in airport, you must clear your cache after ending up the browsing session. Clearing your cache requires just a few minutes. By following the steps you can easily perform this task. Or else, you can set the browser to clear your cache automatically.

First we will discuss on how to clear the cache in Internet Explorer manually. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools menu on the top left of the IE toolbar. After that click on "Delete Browsing History." Here you need to select "Temporary Internet Files." Click the Delete button at the bottom of the window to delete the temporary files instantly. Now check how to set Internet Explorer to automatically clear the cache. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools menu on the top left of the IE toolbar. Let’s have a look at how to set Firefox automatically clear the cache. Click Tools on the top left of the Firefox tool bar and select Options. Here select the Privacy panel. Click on the "Firefox will:" drop-down box in the History section. Choose "Use custom settings for history." Check the box for "Clear history when Firefox closes." Click on the Settings button and in the Settings for Clearing History window check the box next to Cache. Click OK to close.
