Memory of human beings is very limited, the things that are of their interests or create interests remain in the long term memory slot of the brain. For instance we come across several people on day-to-day basis but we tend to remember only few of them due to some of the characteristics associated with them and forget the rest. In similar manner we come across many companies and their logos and advertisements, but remember only few of them.

We cannot remember of the company logos that we see daily. Some remain in our memory and we don’t require straining our minds to recall them, there must be some feature connected with it that has lead to easy recall of the images and words you saw. It’s very human that every image that appeals our mind and we relate to it, gets easily stored in our mind’s memory. So we can retrieve it with ease whenever required.

For logo design this fact is also true, based on which companies can work upon to make it long-lasting and memorable. Several factors and features goes behind making any logo memorable by the masses. We spend very few seconds in looking at an advertisement whether in print material or online, which comes around 2-3 seconds on an average. So the question that might arise in your mind is, if such less time is available than what makes a logo memorable for a readers’ mind. The overall look of the logo should be eye-catching, unique and related to the needs of the target audiences. These are some basic features of a successful logo design.

We can say that for a company its logo is its identity in the market. Logos are first thing that gets to notice, based on which the overall image of your company gets engraved in the minds of the people. But remember that in logo design you cannot have any kind of image or caption that you want, but it has to be specific in nature otherwise your corporate image would be affected negatively. When a logo is considered perfect it compulsorily have following features: proper font size, color selection, font style and images that is created keeping in mind the target customers. It has to be capable enough to pass on the corporate message to the world in comprehensive manner. If the customers are able to relate themselves to your logo than they would be remembering it, thus increasing the chances of better sales.
