A geriatric care nursing home is equipped to deal with the elderly as well as the sick. Their focus is narrower, thus their expertise is richer. Doesn’t the phrase nursing home imply that is it for the elderly? You might be asking. Well, not exactly. They can be bathed, fed, dressed, entertained, helped with toileting, helped to move about and more, and also receive regular medical care from staff members tasked to ensure that their medical conditions are being taken care of in every detail, that their prescriptions are being dispensed and monitored, and that they get routine checks by a qualified physician.
