2. These lovely creatures are known to eat or chew anything that looks yummy to them. Because of this, dogs can sometimes have bad breath. Try to look inside your dogs mouth to see if there are any foreign objects tangles in between his teeth. Hair, twigs, sticks, and bones are some of the common foreign objects that may get stuck in your dogs mouth.
3. Your dog pets bad breath can also be due to some internal problems. Kidney disease is one of the most frequent problems that cause bad breath on dogs. Aother cause is the dog having gastro-intestinal problems. Your dog might be having some problem down in his tummy.
Here are some of the things to consider combating such problems:
1. To keep your dogs breath smelling good, you need to brush his or her mouth. Doing this will help remove things or foods that are stuck in between his or her teeth. Plus, this can also prevent the development of bad odor. Another thing that brushing will do to your dog is that it will also help remove bacteria from your dogs mouth. Though brushing may seem unpleasant for your dog, just be patient and careful in doing so. If the dog gets too much irritated, he might bite you.
2. Try peppermint oil application. This can help eliminate the bad odor that is coming from your dogs mouth. These products are still one of the best ways to help eliminate the bad odor from their mouth though these may be uncomfortable for your dog.
3. Go to your vet and have your pet examined thorougly.
Having the oral hygiene of our pets maintained will greatly help them and us to stay healthy and close to each other. Thus, make sure you regularly check your pet's oral care.
