Over the years people in MLM have found opportunities both good and bad in the industry. Some used the basic knowledge of researching all the companies information before deciding on whether or not to join and became successful.
Others simply caught on with more of a right place at the right time era and profited from their particular industry. However, today many things have changed throughout the MLM industry, but the three things that have stayed the same over the course of time are; Leverage, Residual income, and Geometric growth through duplication.

A better way of explaining leverage is; Time and Money. In order to be successful, people in MLM have to utilize their time as efficiently as possible in order to maximize their profits. This means things such as setting goals throughout each day, talking to a certain number of people, advertising to get your name and company out there.
In the meantime its just as important to take the time and build a rapport with people. Especially if you plan on getting clients more so online than off. In today s world people are more skeptical and for good reason, so an online avenue may take longer than interested people around the neighborhood that you can speak with face to face.
Once you begin to bring people in MLM a residual income will take place. An issue most people have is, not truly understanding the system or pay structure the company presents to you as an individual. Which brings us back to the people that research companies in the beginning. Everyone wants to know how they are going to make money.
Look at it like royalties for musicians. They may have made 3 more albums since their first, yet there still getting paid on the first one. Picture a residual income like you are making $200 extra month simply by something you worked on 2 years ago and its still paying off. People in MLM are tired of getting burned. They need solid leaders, leaders ready to take them to the next level. This is only achieved through hard work, dedication and supervision. New downline members need to know they up line really does care about their success, and the up line needs to prove this on a daily basis.
Then just as importantly the process of duplication or geometric growth. Think of your family genealogy that started with a great times 100 grandpa and grandma over time they have children and their names are placed on the tree, then their children have children, etc. etc. Thats how the people in MLM work to building their future in their own business. Not by having children, but by getting one person to join their team at a time then helping that person get people, and continuously do it.
Through the chance of the world over the last 20 40 years people in the MLM industry have learned to live by these three important assets to having their own successful Internet business. As new ways to bring in other business owners form, these are the only things that continue to stay the same. Possibly making people in MLM a lot more secure.
