Marketing strategies have changed dramatically over the last few years. As technology developed at such a dizzying phase, companies' marketing strategies were not far behind. Many marketing strategies that worked well in the 70s or 80s are now considered, for the most part, boring. What is especially unfortunate is the fact that there are still companies who continue to rely on these old strategies.

It is unfortunate because these companies do not realize that there are many marketing tools out there that are as effective as the old tools but are much cheaper. These new tools give better results because they are not only cost effective but they are more measurable than ever. This gives businesses a lot of choices in terms of tools that help them to calculate their return on investment and make informed decisions about their future.
