You’ve wanted your own business, you’ve longer to be self employed. You’ve heard a lot of hype about MLM business opportunities. So why should you choose one? What’s so great about multi level marketing?
One of the best things that many MLM businesspeople find is that their MLM business fits better with their lifestyle than working for someone else. An MLM business is generally something that can be conducted from your own home and during whatever hours you choose. The business can be scheduled around another job, around childcare duties or around a school schedule. It isn’t something that you have to put in exactly 40 hours a week with. It isn’t something that you have to show up for at 9 a.m. It’s a business that is largely conducted on your own terms and during your own time.

Another big pro are the relatively low costs involved with starting in an MLM business. You won’t have to rent a store or a warehouse. You don’t have to pay huge franchise fees or hire lawyers and accountants like you would with many other types of businesses. This can free up almost anyone to start in an MLM business even if they don’t have a lot of money to invest. In some MLM opportunities, there is just a small start up fee or a starter kit that contains sample products. This is far less than stocking a store with items would cost and is generally something that even a student can afford.
MLM businesses allow you to play to your own strengths. You probably know what your strengths are. It may be communication with others, networking, computer skills, sales copy, etc. You can use your own strengths to set up your own sales techniques in order to make your sales. That’s something you probably wouldn’t be free to do if you worked for someone else.
Because the Internet will bring you so many customers, this is a great time to get started with MLM sales. Unlike the old days when a sales person had to go from door to door in order to sell anything, a salesperson these days can reach customers thousands of miles away and for very little in advertising costs. Internet advertising is relatively inexpensive and has the potential to be seen by millions of people. That makes this a great time to get involved in sales. There’s never been an easier time filled with more sales options that there are right now.
If you don’t have the funds for paid advertizing there are many free methods you can use that just take time not money. A few examples are Craigs list, which can be very effective with the drawback you have to resubmit your ads on a regular basis, but again its cost free. Article Marketing is another very effective way to promote your business. You write an article, generally 500 700 words, and at the bottom of the article is a “Resource Box” which contains a few words about you and web links to the site you are promoting. The beauty or this is when you ‘Submit” your article to an article directory it is available to anyone to use. Other article directory will grab your article resource box and all and post it to their site. They all need fresh content all the time to keep their customers and Google happy. This can happen many times witch “virally” spreads your links all over the internet. I wrote 5 articles and posted them in 1 week. 2 weeks later I did a search and found those 5 articles on over 2000 websites! Wow is this powerful! One year later I’m getting over 100 visitors to my site from just those 5 artcles. Write 1 article a day for a year and you will have thousands of visitors a month to your site.
