How to Conduct Personalized and Group MLM Training

If one of your responsibilities as an network marketer involve recruiting people and getting them interested, you need a plan to get started. We ve all been in boring MLM training exercises where ill prepared speakers show up, give us information that we might have just as well read out of a pamphlet and then have to do their best to fight the growing boredom of the crowd. These cringe worthy events are why MLM occasionally gets a bad rap, but by just keeping a few simple things in mind, MLM training can be a great experience and a great way to get information across.

If you are holding a small group or a one on one MLM training session in your own home, make sure that you are well prepared for it. Your home should be tidy, with the small kids sent off to a baby sitter and any animals secured in another part of the house. Don t serve alcohol or large meals, or you ll find your guests drifting off half an hour in but do keep light refreshments on hand to keep the energy up.

When holding a MLM training session in your home, it is still no excuse to not have visual aids. A simple whiteboard, easily purchased from your local home office supply store, or a large presentation board works, and if you have the cash to spare, look into getting a projector that will hook to your laptop and allow you to create Power Point presentations. One of the best ways to keep everyone interested is to provide plenty of things to look at.

When you are presenting an MLM training session, remember that you will need to make sure to keep things moving ahead and snappy. Your presentation should come in around forty minutes; any longer and the people will no longer be as apt to to stick around and listen if it just keeps dragging on. Spend the first five minutes or less introducing yourself and telling them what your upline team leaders can do to help them achieve their dreams. Introduce your company and your products for about ten minutes. Keep bringing your audience back to the idea of how this can help them achieve their dreams, whether it is in terms of health, wealth or life success.

In your MLM training session, show them how your compensation plan will help them solve their fiancial woes. This is the most important part, so be careful to make sure that you emphasize the benefits. Similarly, if your pay plan takes more than ten minutes to explain, it is too complicated! For the last fifteen minutes or so, talk about the support system that is involved, why the time is right to join and how quickly they can be on the road to success.

Remember to engage your audience, whether it is by telling them to shout “Yes!” along with you or by asking them questions. Keep an eye on the enthusiastic participants, as there s a good chance that they ll be your future downline. MLM training isn t for the shy, but with a little bit of work, you ll find that it s a piece of cake.
