Many website owners Google their web sites or their competitor’s site to find their back links. Google shows only a diminutive portion of your links on their search engine. Why Google does not show the entire one way back links that are pointing to your website? The reason is that any competitor and spammer use reverse engineering to outrank your website. Many competitors apply this method to wipe off your website and get their own sites on search engines’ top ranking.
I usually apply different strategies for my own and my customers’ websites. I change my link building pattern every month, sometimes twice a week. I do it for security reasons. My link building pattern is not predictable. Some outsourcing companies give me one month project to explore how I do it. I give them what they want which is “either human traffic to their web sites or increase sales, but they cannot find out what I do. In fact many SEO’ers do not reveal all their secrets.

The fact is that you need bunch of better data to outrank your competitors. Google shows up to 6% of existing links which are not the most important links. Because there is no particular order in Google’s link command algorithm! Those links which you see are usually outdated!
Outranking A Website
To outrank your competitor, there are other ways. If you analyze your competitors’ back links you will be able to wipe them off from the top ranking. But how can you to do it? The back links that Google shows you on search engines, won’t help you to find out your competitor’s link building strategy. Many people try Yahoo’s search engine. Let me tell you this. Yahoo may show a portion but not all of those back links. I admire this pattern in search engines algorithms.
I see many web owners have posted or post their tasks to outrank my customers’ websites but there is something that they do not know and cannot find out. Subsequently they keep outsourcing their SEO tasks hoping to find a way to do it. How do I know? When I get a project, I monitor every single move and activity online with my advanced tools including some alert programs. I protect my customer’s keywords and website as of my own.
The important fact is that Google returns outdated numbers which do not give you any images for figuring out your competitors ranking pattern. What you must do is to build your own back link building data base. Do not waste your time on investigating your competitors back links. The answer is not there!
How to outrank a competitor’s website?
You have to explore the frequency of keyword routine.
Here are some hints:
1- The quantitative score of the page on search engine
2- Explore the number of links that are pointing to the site
3- Keyword density
4- Keyword performance on search engines
5- Number of visitors that the targeted page gets excluding the bots
6- Keyword prominence
Here are some tips,
Find the keywords
- Check those anchor texts
- Check the page rank of those website pages
- Find the inbound links. How? If your competitor has inbound links that have ranked on for example Google.ru or Google.dk etc. then target those links. You must check that site on a targeted search engine, then you must follow certain mathematical equation ( see the hints above). Then you should follow the pattern that Google ranked that page.
Example: If the competitor’s keyword ranked on google.dk , then you must follow all back links that the page got and ranked on Google.dk. You should also remember the on page optimization.
- Check the content of the linking pages. You must create back links for your page, more than the number of back links to your competitor page. For example:
If your competitor‘s niche is about “weight Loss”, the same as yours, then check the link that they have built, multiply by 6 or any number that boost the amount of links. Since Google, does not tell you the exact number of back links nor do the amount that Google shows you, then you must follow a mathematical equation to add to those back links.
I remember once a customer contacted me and asked for my help to add to his page rank. He told me that a SEO company built over 3000 back links and he could not see any results! Subsequently he was skeptical about back link building. He did not know one thing that those pages were coming from useless sites.
You see some webmasters or website owners; think if you get those several thousands of back links they get ranking! They are wrong! It is not about getting 1000’s of links anymore! The year 2011 is around the coroner.
The secret recipe is to get good links, high authority links and social media likes. However social media cannot determine the relevancy of site. It does not matter your website has a few back links; you should have back links that are coming from good neighborhood.
You can pay $4000 per month for a SEO project and get top ranking with only a small portion of back links, or you can pay $250 and get over 3000 useless back links, the choice is yours. It all depends on how much you wish to invest on your marketing campaign and how much more you get in return.
Getting a cheap product does not necessarily mean that you are getting a quality work.
It is not a fruit market; it is a calculated SEO campaign that works. Such campaign can generate targeted customers and increase your sales.
