Clothing and gadgets connected with an event or to a brand help to feel part of that specific event of nearer to that certain brand: they are a perfect method to increase its popularity and grant a passive promotion by the people who buy them, who will promote the brand simply by wearing the clothes they bought and walking in the streets.
Surfing the net you can find lots of gadgets, funny or fashionable, useful or with a purely aesthetical function...summing up, you can find just anything! You can choose things following fashion, personal taste, to remind an event...there are many reasons to buy promotional clothing.
For companies, the reasoning should be made with the opposite point of view: the reasons to produce promotional clothing or gadgets are many, and bring an economical convenience which is created both by the income coming from the selling of the objects and by the promotion coming from the same objects sold.
Of course, to make these objects meet the favour of the public , they must become “musts”, and here marketing and public relations are fundamental to succeed creating a myth, be it passing or durable.
Fashion often creates myths, and these are objects which those who follow fashion must have; they are “musts”, that is to say objects which are in the situation of being longed by those who buy them and precious for those who produce them, because they immediately bring back to the producer, promoting its firm.
Summing up, the more a company produces gadgets, the most it is known; at the same time, the more it is known, the more it produces them: a delicate equilibrium of causes and effects, to be exploited at the best to make the company enjoy the positive effects of promotion.
