A Review of The BigSmart Income Opportunity

At one point or another, most people involved in the internet marketing world have heard of scams going on, but the BigSmart ordeal is yet another to add to the pile. This time, the Federal Trade Commission got involved and the two main promoters in this marketing scheme were forced to pay consumer redress. This was a winner for the consumer, right? What is (or WAS) the BigSmart income opportunity all about?

The BigSmart Opportunity

Everybody has seen those commercials up late at night promising to help people make their own money, get rich overnight, or something else outlandish of that nature. While it is highly possible that many of these schemes will work BigSmart was one of these programs and they are now forced to pay back consumers for money they lost on their opportunity.

The sad thing about the BigSmart opportunity is that it sounded so great and simple as well. It was a web based opportunity that promised big return for investors who were willing to do certain things. In this case, BigSmart specialized in internet shopping mall buying and selling. It sounds like a lucrative plan, and it was until the officials caught wind of the way that main men Mark and Harry Tahilani were doing business.

It turns out that this was some big pyramid operation; pyramid operations are illegal business ventures. It made them a good deal of money but the partners were forced to pay the money back, as they were guilty of committing the crime before any judgment was ever even made. To some people it sounds like a guilty conscience. To other people it may sound a bit like wanting to get a horrible ordeal over with.

One of the sad things about the internet is there are programs that seem so attractive at first, then at the end of the day you realize you re surrounded in a pile of doo doo and the only way to get any real relief is to quit the company and go on to the next flavor of the week.

All too often however, many of us get stubborn and will try something over and over, even if things don t work out the first time. This is why so many people hung around this company for so long. Unfortunately with a company like this no one wins but a few people at the top of the heap.

When you run into a situation like this in almost all cases it s just best to move on.

The Repercussions to the BigSmart Ordeal

These days, there is no BigSmart business opportunity running anywhere. The Tahilanis agreed to never participate in any multi level marketing or MLM group at any time in the future, and risk severe consequences if they even try. People believed in BigSmart and that is why they were eventually forced to cease business operations. When customers see a sound business opportunity, they jump on it—sometimes to find that the ice was thin; this was the case with the BigSmart income opportunity.
