Marcel Luske is one of the famous Professional Poker Players. He became more and more popular at the advent of the televised poker game. In March in the year of 2005, Luske became victorious in the 10,000 Hall of Fame Poker Classic, held in Paris in France. This time he managed to take home an amount of119,000 dollars.

Marcel Luske is also famous as a mentor. He mentored not only David Williams who turned up as the runner up in the World Series of Poker in 2004, but also Kiril Gerasimov, a poker professional from Russia. Kiril ended up being the runner up in the season 1 championship of the World Poker Tour in which Marcel himself ended up securing the 14th place. Marcel is also a black belt in karate.
