As you may no doubt know, there are a lot of different calendar layouts and configurations that you can create for a fundraising campaign. However, it all depends on your target market which kind of fundraising calendars are apt for the campaign to be successful. If you are unsure as to what kind of fundraising calendar you need for your particular fundraising objectives, then you have come to the right place to learn. In this guide, I will discuss the typical custom calendar layouts and configurations that you can use for a fundraising campaign. Below you learn what kind of calendars you can use, and the best people to offer them to.

a. Wall calendars – The most common custom calendars that you can create for a fundraising campaign are wall calendars. These are the type of calendars that are (of course) posted on walls. These calendars are large, typically having a large full color image as the centerpiece of its design. You can use this type of calendar effectively for all sorts of fundraising campaigns. Whatever concept you want for calendars can easily be applied to this configuration. This makes it the workhorse for fundraising calendars. b. Desk calendars – Another type of calendar layout that you can create are desk calendars. Desk calendars are like small standees or table picture frames that stand on its own display its calendar in a desk. These are significantly smaller than wall calendars, but are of course more useful to people, especially the ones who work on desks. When they are working and need to schedule things or figure out certain dates etc. A desk calendar is the best most useful thing they can use. If your target for fundraising are more of the office type people, or are people who work commonly in desks, then these are the best thing to sell to them. They are both useful and aesthetically pleasing, a perfect blend of utility and art.

c. Planning calendars – Beyond common desk calendars, you can also market a different kind of custom calendar to office people. Planning calendars are those calendars that appear face up at the desk itself. It does not stand, but rather is a big piece of document that will lie on top of the desk. Calendars like this have large “date boxes” so that people can write in plans and notes that relate to their business schedule. If you plan to do some fundraising with executives and corporate types with busy schedules, this is the type of calendar that you might want to use.

d. Pocket calendars – if your budget is a bit slim for calendar printing but you still want to reach and sell to a lot of people for fundraising, then the best type of calendar that you can use are pocket calendars. For only just a few dollars, you can sell small and useful pocket calendars to almost everyone you meet, even at the street. Most people find pocket calendars really useful and since you can sell them cheaply, most of them should be able to buy with no real regrets. Those people may even actually buy extras to give to their friends and family. Just make sure that those pocket folders can fit people’s pockets and wallets to make them really portable.

Now you know the different types of calendar layouts that you can use for your fundraising efforts. Try to match the correct configuration for your own fundraising calendars. Good luck!
