Unlike those that are seen in movies, the techniques used by martial artists do not involve magic. We, the viewers, are just fooled by special effects. Some of them can single-handedly take out a motley crew of goons without even breaking a sweat. This is because these are great eye candies and it is what viewers want. But in actuality, none of these stunts shown in films are effective self defense techniques.
Today, we can see many kinds of techniques used by martial artists. Here are some techniques categorized for beginners for better understanding about the moves used in martial arts that make it amazing.

Professional fighters need to spend a great degree of time working on these techniques. On top of these, stances are imperative to both sports and traditional martial arts. Some examples of these stances utilized in Kung Fu are based on animals: the Snake, the Crane, the Horse, the Monkey, the Tiger, the Eagle, etc. Several of these are influenced by human behavior like the Drunken Technique.
