Margaret the Gobble Gobble Spray Bottle Turkey
Always use your imagination and be artistic when building these kids crafts or any others. It's your creation, thus be inventive when looking for building provides - you only might be shocked! When building your project, experiment with new and totally different ways that of putting it together. The most necessary factor is to have fun!
Find these or similar provides!
* one empty spray bottle (Create positive you wash it thoroughly and dry it 1st!)

* Cereal box or some cardboard
* Regular masking tape
* Markers or paint
1. Wash your bottle!
1st make positive that you simply wash your spray bottle completely before you use it. All you actually need for Margaret is a spray bottle and something for her tail. Her tail can be as simple as attaching a paper plate, or you can cut out some tail feathers from paper or cardboard. Attach your feathers, add some eyes, color Margaret, and you're done!
This Thanksgiving craft is fun for children of all ages. If you'd like to make a more elaborate version of Margaret, follow along!
2. Create Margaret's tail feathers!
For Margaret's tail feathers, I played around with different supplies and shapes till I found something I believed would be appropriate for her. I ended up deciding to make her tail feathers out of items of a cereal box that I cut out. However you'll use a paper plate or anything you'll return up with.
3. Cover her tail feathers and body!
Next I lined every of Margaret's feathers and her body with a layer of masking tape. You don't must use tape; you'll just color her tail and body later with markers or paint.
4. Make Margaret's beak!
Margaret desires a beak, thus I took some masking tape and attached it to the spray bottle nozzle. I wadded it up and shaped it to allow her a nice beak. I added some masking tape to her head to giver her a wrinkly turkey head look. For Margaret's body, I ripped off small pieces of tape and layered all of them across her surface to grant her feathers.
5.Add some feet!
Margaret wants turkey feet, therefore I cut out a try from some cardboard. I attached a little piece of straw to the high of the feet, cut holes in her base, and pushed them in. However you'll merely tape or glue Margaret's feet in place.
Maybe it's snowing where you live, thus perhaps Margaret needs a combine of snow-boots instead. Or flip-flops.
6. Color her tail feathers and body!
Next I did some tests of nice colours for Margaret's tail feathers and body. I checked out some footage of turkeys and noticed they have banded stripes across their tail feathers, therefore I created Margaret's feathers look similar. I used markers on her body to administer her a feathered look. I added a pair of wadded up items of tape for her eyeballs and colored them black.
When I was done coloring Margaret, I attached her tail items by gluing all together 1st, piecemeal (in a very fan form) and then attached the high-most piece to her body with glue. You'll be able to use tape as well. Be creative.
7. Add a wattle!
Gobble Gobble! Wait, Margaret needs a chin... a turkey's chin is named a "wattle", and I thought the best wattle for Margaret would be a red balloon. Voila! It's Margaret the Gobble Gobble Red Wattle Spray Bottle Turkey!
