Settlers of Catan Card Game
The Settlers of Catan card game contains 120 cards, one production die, 1 event die, one knight token, one windmill token and a rule book. The rule book is thirty two pages therefore this can be a terribly brief overview of the sport which is terribly complex. The one advantage of the card game is that it's designed for 2 players, unlike the Settlers of Catan board game which requires at least 3 players. The initial setup for this game is sort of complex and somewhat time consuming. Every player starts with nine cards, 2 settlement, one road and vi regions cards. The six regions cards produce resources, ore, grain, wool, brick, timber and gold.
When the initial setup is completed the cards are divided into 10 piles. The development cards are sorted into road, city, settlement and region. Event cards create a fifth pile. The enlargement deck is divided into five piles. Each player looks through one of the five piles of the expansion deck and chooses three cards to start. Now you are prepared to start playing.

Every player rolls the dice, takes the actions they opt for and ends their turn. The event die is the first to be rolled. The event die has 5 icons representing Tournament, commerce, brigand, year of plenty and event. Within the tournament, every player totals his knights tournament points and therefore the winner gets a resource. Commerce allows the player with the foremost commerce to take a resource from his opponent. Brigand suggests that that any player with more than seven unprotected resources loses all his ore and wool. The year of masses permits every player to settle on one resource and event permit the top card from the event deck to be played.
The production die is numbered and is played in much the identical way as it's in the Settlers of Catan board game.
The card game includes a bank. When you are taking actions, you'll be able to trade either together with your opponent or the bank. You'll be able to develop by trading resources for roads, settlement and cities and you'll expand your cities.
