Health products keep advancing with new discoveries and recipes. The world as we know it still holds many secrets that are being tapped and introduced as healthy alternatives for active lifestyles. Zavita, a home business opportunity, is one of the company’s tapping the natural resources of our world.
Zavita is the newest branch of the Dallas, TX based FirstFitness, an eighteen year old company specializing in health and nutrition products. It was launched on February 7, 2007, and has full in house capabilities that include distributor support, marketing, accounting, and other business departments. The company did over one million dollars of sales in the first month. The parent company, FirstFitness, is a member of the Direct Sellers Association. They support the Special Olympics and Tour for a Cure.

The only product this branch of FirstFitness sells is the Zavita health drink. Called the “Elixir Of Life”, this drink is made up of herbs such as cat’s claw, catuaba and imporuru, all found naturally growing in the rainforests of the Amazon. Benefits of the drink, as claimed by the company, include: immune system stimulation; increased libido and performance; appetite suppressant; pain blocker; muscle ache and pain reduction; and healthy skin. These ingredients have been used in clinical trials on humans as well as by tribal healers in the Amazon. The drink has been certified as Kosher. Cost of the product is not listed on the website.
Zavita is sold in the direct marketing style. They provide their distributors with their own web site, back office for business management, training systems, business presentation, marketing packages, and events. They offer seven methods for making money with the company, the first being the simple retail method where you and six of your friends purchase the product once a month. If any of those people sign on as a distributor, you have earned more money.
This method is a pyramid scheme. Each of the other six methods for earning income is built from the retail method and includes a matching check and car bonus. It is recommended that you sign on with a sponsor that the company will find for you if you do not know anyone currently selling this product. Even the parent company’s website does not detail what the cost of becoming a distributor is, although distributors of FirstFitness products are welcome to also sell Zavita.
The company also offers a membership reward program. By purchasing the drink from a Zavita distributor, the customer can earn ‘Zavita Dollars’. After four consecutive months, these can be redeemed for additional bottles of the health drink. It requires 40 Zavita Dollars to earn one bottle and each bottle rewards the autoship customer with four dollars.
As with many other direct selling companies, Zavita makes it very difficult to make a good determination on whether this is the right fit for an individual. While the prospective distributor would only be handling a single product, it is impossible to even ask friends and family if they would interested in trying it without knowing the cost. Contacting the company for more information is the best advice that can be given before making a decision to join the Zavita distribution team.
