Is this for real? Seriously - ok, the Ice Cream Diet apparently claims that it's possible to eat something obviously delicious, and a person is able to experience weight loss. Since almost everybody loves ice cream, this diet sounds great, but possibly too good to be true. Aren't you curious if this is something real? We were, and so we'll review the Ice Cream Diet and see what is up with this unusual name and approach.

Put simply, the Ice Cream Diet tells you point blank that you can get rid of the excess weight while retaining the pleasure of indulging in terrific tasting foods. Ok, so what this diet has you do is maintain a watchful eye on the daily calorie load.

This diet is designed to keep the daily calories limited, but you can still eat that wonderful ice cream each day. Regular exercise is important to do no matter what, but this diet includes that as part of the overall approach. Very many people do better when they're rewarded for good efforts, and that's the point about the daily ice cream treat. You may already know that keeping yourself to only those low calorie foods, and nothing else, gets old extremely fast. The main benefit of the Ice Cream Diet is that it will easier to adhere to from a psychological perspective.

They take advantage of human nature and psychology in this diet. When you restrict yourself from something in particular, there's an unusual feeling of wanting it even moreso than before. If you have dieted, then you know the feeling of deprivation that often, or usually, accompanies the diet experience. It is well known that so many people put weight back on, and part of the reason has to do with all those feelings of deprivation during the diet. This diet is actually clever because it addresses a very common problem experienced by all dieters, perhaps. What people experience with the Ice Cream Diet is their are much more likely to stick with the diet.

The Ice Cream Diet will work if you follow the plan because it is structurally sound, and the inclusioin of ice cream in the name is just a catchy phrase for the title. With this diet, men are not allowed to eat more than 2,000 calories per day, and women 1,500. Then you will combine that with exercise on a regular basis. Theoretically, if you wanted to you could eat your daily limit in ice cream, but who wants to do that? It's interesting because you can really eat a little bit of something "bad" for you every day, just as long as you follow the plan - and you'll still lose weight. Marketing has more to do with Ice Cream Diet name than the actual necessity of eating ice cream.

You can lose weight with the Ice Cream Diet, and you'll have to do your part just like with any other diet. But hey... no sneaking more of the cold, good stuff than you should - if you do, you know what will happen. So, what we have here is a system that gets you to limit your calories and lose weight; and you can still have a daily reward, too.
