Drug Abuse - The 7 Traps of Drug Abuse
Drug abuse - if you knew what your life would finish up looking like as a drug addict, I'm certain you'd never start. Therefore here are a number of the traps I've seen.
Trap 1 - You're hooked before you recognize it. Some medication instantly hook you, while others slowly pull you in.
You want to suit in. You want to be accepted by your new friends. Therefore you take the medication after they're offered. When all, doing it simply once won't hurt! How might having all these good feelings be thus bad?

Entice two - Your finances go down the drain as you now use your cash to buy drugs, instead of food and different necessities.
Invariably seeking the following "high" or a higher "high," you're persuaded that this next hit will offer it. After all, you will do anything to get the cash to buy the drugs.
Trap 3 - You begin doing unhealthy things so as to feed your habit.
You find yourself doing belongings you never dreamed you'd ever do. Things like lying to friends and family. Stealing. Selling your possessions, or someone else's possessions. You do not come phone calls. You avoid your friends. You lose shut family relationships.
Trap four - You begin to cut price with God.
"God, if you'll get me out of this mess, I'll do whatever You wish me to do." You watch for God to miraculously cure you of your addiction. And if He does not, you turn your back on God.
Trap five - You feel thus sorry for yourself that you do not even try to quit.
You've reached the bottom of your life. You think you may never get out of the hell hole you're in. You hear others tell you that since your drug addiction could be a disease, you may never be able to beat it, solely manage it. (This can be a lie, by the method!)
Trap vi - Your body and health deteriorates.
Your body wastes away from the medication and lack of healthy food. Your teeth begin to rot. Your face looks hollow.
Lure 7 - You currently live on the streets or in a homeless shelter.
The drug currently controls you completely. You've got lost your career, your home, your family, and all your friends. You've got given up on yourself.
Are These Traps Permanent?
No! Despite what society tells you, or what you tell yourself, there's hope for you to get out of each one of these traps.
How? Initial, by uncovering all the lies you've got been told concerning your drug addiction. Lies like:
? It's not your fault
? It's a disease
? It's hereditary, it's in your genes
? You are simply like so-and-so and he/she never amounted to something
? You'll have to be in a recovery support group the rest of your life
? It can take years, if ever, to utterly stop your addiction
? Nobody can ever love you once more
? You've got messed up your life thus unhealthy that you'll never have a chance at your dreams
? You will never be able to restore broken relationships
? You'll never get your kids back, based upon your background
