You can have your business cards, brochures, postcards, catalogs, calendars, letterheads, posters, stickers, and many more printed for you on line.
Business cards should be designed simply and concisely. It should state the information in a readable font. High-resolution should be used for postcards for its images. Try to avoid using images with low-resolution for it would appear pixelized.
For catalogs, choose the best angle for the photographs of the products. Again use high-resolution images. Give enough information for each product, including the price.
The price information is the difference between a brochure and a catalog. The price can only be found in the catalog but not in the brochure.
It is very important to have the best resolution for calendars and posters. The reason for this is because the images are printed in large format. The printing quality will be evident here.
Always keep in mind the printing rule of thumb, which is “garbage in, garbage out.” The quality of the images that you supply the printers would produce the same quality in the printed material. Don't expect the printers to enhance low-resolution images.
Make sure that your layouts are simple especially for brochures. Use a consistent color combination. Your brochures should bring to mind an aura of professionalism. Make them worth the while of customers to read through all of the sections of the brochure. Remember that your purpose is to convince clients to have a business relationship with you.
Select a typeface for titles that is bold and readable. Avoid using ornate or dirty fonts. Ornate fonts are great for wedding invitations. Use them for titles but never for a body of text. They will look great in a few words but tires the eyes if used in whole paragraphs. Dirty fonts may look nice in posters especially if some effects are applied to it. But again it would burn out the eyes if used in a body of text.
Now its possible for all the above printed materials to be produced through an online negotiation. It makes having a printing job done convenient for you.
