After cracking the whip on mobile tower firms, now all nationalised plus private banks by the state can have come under the pollution scanner around the generators them to use. The state pollution control board (PCB) will need asked all bank authorities in the state to fit green diesel generators by December 31 this year to prevent air as well as noise pollution that the existing generators cause.
State environment department law officer Biswajit Mukherjee said that they were receiving complaints for quite some time about generators in banks creating the two air and also noise pollution in including for the city along with most individuals places on the districts.
