Being able to forgive and forget is important in a relationship. Even if you ended up breaking up with him because maybe he did something to hurt you, if you are trying to get back together with him, then you are going to need to let go of the past and ensure that you are going to be willing to move forward with him and see what the future is to bring.
When you are considering how to get a guy back, you should be mentally ready for his not jumping back on the bandwagon easily. This may not be the easiest thing to do because we all have our pride, but if this is worth it to you, then this is something that you are going to have to be willing to do.
