How Camouflage Clothing Changed the Military

Most people recognize camouflage clothing as part of the military. People who see others who are wearing this form of clothing feel that they have been part of the war since that is the main use of camouflage clothing. This may be true since there are so many different types of military clothing, but camo clothing is the only one dedicated to be used in combat affairs.

In the history of military clothing, there have been different types of clothing that were created to make most soldiers life easier. Most during the early days, wore bright colors of red and even blue so that their commanders can easily distinguish them from their opponents. However, with the progression of military weapons, tactical analysis of combat situations also changed. Bright uniforms became more of a hazard than a tool that can be used to save more combatants.

Because of this, military engineers created different military clothing that will help them in their combats. They found out that bright colors will not do well during combat situations since it will draw more attention to their soldiers rather than hide them.

Thus camouflage clothing started to become popular. Camouflage clothing even became known during the Vietnam War and a lot of soldiers benefited from the designs that were made to protect them.

The progress of years also did not stop the development of the military to create better military clothing, as it can be seen in Afghanistan and in Iraq. Different sections of the military made their own camouflage clothing as they see fit to be used on their own military affairs. Digital camouflage clothing also came into view with the changes that the military did.
Truly with the progress of the military, camouflage clothing also became an indispensable tool that is not just regarded as a uniform, but a weapon most of them use.
