When you talk about Newquay, the picture of town comes to mind – a town that is located on the north Atlantic cost of Cornwall, a place of civil rural community that has a seaside resort and fishing ports. Geographically speaking, it is bordered to the west by the River Gannel and its connected salt marsh. It is linked in the east by the Porth Valley. Historically viewing, this town has been growing locally (south) since it originated. The 2001 census said that it had a stable population of 19,423.

On visiting and making a long trip over this wonderful town, one does experience the marvel of flying via helicopter to the beautiful Isles of Scilly. The Isles of Scilly are a wonderful destination to visit. A person can become spellbound by viewing the stunning scenery of West Cornwall, as well as the serene and beautiful islands.

Then there comes the Treasure Park. It offers activities that are both family focused and hands on. When you visit Treasure Park, you will find that it has a major collection of jewellery made from pearls, silver and gold, along with fine pieces of handcrafted jewellery. When it comes to jewellery or making things with your own hands, one cannot miss a place like the Silver Works Studio. It allows you to make your own item of jewellery from silver clay. Once you are there in the town then don’t miss places like Crystal Treasures and the Gem Scoop shop to discover gems and buried treasures.

On arriving at Treasure Park what you find is County Chocolates, which has on offer a variety of tasty confectionary, located in the Cornish Goldsmiths building. Treasure Park possesses wonderful international displays i.e. the ‘Delorean’ Time Machine from the Back to the Future movies, James Bond’s Aston DB5, and a million pounds of gold bullion.

Newquay Hotels are in abundance, whilst there’s a vast array of Bed and Breakfast’s, guest houses, caravan parks, camp sites, self catering cottages and a selection of surf lodges, and relax in the newly renovated Red Carpet Restaurant, and have something to eat, and be awestruck by the collection of knick knacks around the world. Another worthwhile visit is Tolgus Mill, which is a national museum and includes few of the last left over examples of this history making technology.

Then comes the Fistral Spa, which is situated on the North Coast of Cornwall, and has been designed to take care of and nourish both body and soul. As you go the spa, scents and senses combine with calming sounds and pleasant colors to produce a private, peaceful atmosphere. During a choice of carefully chosen ESPA therapies, Fistral Spa achieves a combination of body mind and spirit, taking clients to a place of peace and well being. There are nine comfortable treatment rooms, which have been designed by keeping in mind every comfort of yours. In addition to that, there is an unequalled architect designed complex along with the following comforts:

1. A state of the art fitness suite
2. Heated vitality pool
3. Jacuzzi
4. Steam room
5. Sauna
6. Most advanced spas in the South West.

There is a museum known as National Maritime Museum Cornwall. It is renowned for having fun with the sea, boats and Cornwall focusing on shipwrecks, Free diving,
human torpedoes, diving history, submarines, submersibles, underwater photography, physiology, and renewable energy sources.

There is also the novel Falmouth Gallery, stressing upon the significance of Falmouth’s Maritime history including a Curiosity Shop, which boasts strange but magnificent things that sailors brought back from distant places from all over the world.
