As we shop for furniture, it is our job to keep it maintained and clean. To keep your furniture at its best, you can hire a housekeeper. There are other types of furniture and with different ways on how to clean it. Those pieces that are delicate to clean such as a velvet couch or a chandelier. It is important to know how to do a cleaning routine to for at least twice a week in order to keep your furniture lovely to look at. Many products are available in the market for each designated furniture to be used for cleaning and maintaining.

Wood furniture

The most common furniture that is found in the house is the wood furniture. This is used to hold different things such as the television set, appliances, or even used as a dining table and some sort of decorative materials. It is best to keep in mind that to be able to preserve this furniture, you must maintain it clean and polished. You can make use of other remedies on how to do it. You just need some special spray solution for this kind of furniture that is available in the market or for home remedy; you'll have to have water, a rag, and disinfectant.

Metal furniture

For decorative metal furniture, it is a protocol to help preserve its glow and shine. Use a metal polish for specific metal furniture to keep it dirt free and rust free. You can also make your own solution by mixing water with detergent that has bleach on it or better yet lemon juice for instant shine and would smell good as well.

Different kinds of materials are used in making a piano.made with different kinds of materials. It is not only made with wood but also for some it is made with ivory, glass, or even metal. You have to know first what material in used in the piano and proper cleaning material should be used. Make use of a smooth rag for your base. Not only it helps the furniture shiny and clean, but it also gets rid of the scratch if you'll use a hard cloth and matched polish solution should be used.

Upholstery

This is a type of furniture with different materials. Fabric, leather, and vinyl are the materials used in making these furniture. When cleaning, since this it your resting place in the living room, proper maintenance should be observed. If it's a fabric, you have to vacuum it at least twice in a week. If there are spots, use a spot remover in order to get rid of it. Now, if it's a leather or vinyl, just wipe it with a clean cloth and apply solution that is not harsh to the material like mild soap. And to keep it shine and keen, apply a conditioner to maintain its natural look.
