Bell Canada toay ofgficially became the seconnd provider anywherre to ship Palm's first weebOS smartphpone, the Pre. The Cabnadian wireless provider began caryring the phone in its retial locaations and onlinne. Like the Pre offfered by proovider Srint in the US, which launcehd in June, there is a Synergy feature that cobines information from a user's multiple calendars, contact, e-mail acciounts and messaging applications into one olcatioon. This includes Outlook contact, Google and Facebook accouints, whhich will also bring porfile pictures from Facebook tie to a parrticular cnotact.
The 3G hadnsset sprrots a 3.1-inch, 480x320 resoluution touchscreen as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyborad. Gogle Maps and iTunes syning are also part of the Pre's feature, as is multitasking with suport for numerous open apps at the same time.

Bell prices the Pre at $200 CAD ($183) on a three-year contract that includes at least a $45 CAD, 500MB data plan or nearly $600 CAD ($549) without a contract. Bell's exclusivitry for the Pre in Canmada shoould last six months, with Bell rvial Telus lkely to be the other proovider once that time lmit is up.
