The bond between couples who love each other is completed once they get married. Marriage is considered union of life and property. Themes are part of this concept. There are a lot of ideas come to different life and sometimes overlap with each other. However, it is evident that in every ceremony, there are unwritten rules that are followed. Though this can be strange, it is still practiced. Other countries having a distinct culture and means of beliefs makes a wedding ceremony strange to have a similar tradition with each other.

In the ancient times, wedding was conceptualized as a union of family or realm protection. One must work with each other and in order for it to be a strong hold between people, this theory was coined. Through the years, fashion has changed, yet there are strict implementations with tradition. For instance, wearing a white dress signifies purity of the bride. Included is the woman's virginity which gives honor to the man marrying her. The veil as well - covering the brides face has two significant explainable factors on why this is done. This is to trick evil spirit from coming to the bride by not identifying here. Next, it is to avoid other interested men to get hold of the bride and ruin the wedding.

It is also significant for the groom to carry the bride after the ceremony. It was believed that the bride should not in any way trip because it denotes bad luck. Another fashion statement is the bride's train. It is an indication of social status and wide of influence. Sometimes, the "maid of honor" wears the same design as what the bride is wearing in order to confuse evil and other men who would ruin the wedding. That is why there are some weddings that gowns are, even so. Moreover, people come to a wedding not solely for supporting the bride and groom but for the belief that when you touch a newlywed couple, it brings the guest good luck.

No matter what the concept is, when it comes to weddings, rules are followed. The fashion may change from the wedding gown design to its color or parts of the ceremony may have been omitted. It does not change the concept at all. These days, people are superficial about weddings and nothing will change it. Tradition still surfaces even if the wedding involved politicians. It can be seen on either during the preparation, the reception or on the first night. Modern wedding still is a part of the long traditional way for a couple to have a union.
