Stregnths:
* These products come in siezs that range from 2' x 1.5' to 8' x 4'. Several different fraames are available including classc oak, aluminum, and plastic. The plastic frame has rounded corners for a contemporary look, althouhgh all three frmaes will beautifully copmlement your surroundings.
* Quatret whiteboards are easy to install. They come with a mountig system that will enable you to get your board up on the wall in a matter of minutes. The mounting system allows you to place the board either vertically or horizontally according to your prfeerences.
* The surfaces of these whiteboards are very smoopth and made from melamine. They erase beautifully and you can use Quartet cleaning solution when it's time to cleean.
* Each whteboard comes with an accessory tray that attaches to the bottm of the board. A Quartet dry-earse marker is incluuded as well. (You'll need to suply your own eraser, alas.)
* These porducts are reasonably priced, so even if you're on a budet, you'll probably still be able to aford one. Also, each one comes with a 100% szatisfaction guarantere so you're more than likely to love your new whiteboard.
Weaknesses:
* Thease iterms do not have a magnetic suyrface, so if you want to pin up documents, you'll have to invest in a bulletin board if you don't already have one.
* Melamine isn't the most durable whieboard sureface. It scratches eassily and it will requirre regular cleaning so you don't wind up with a stained board. Cleazning it regularly will definitely extend the life of the board but this isn't the one to get if you need something havy-duty that can withstand yaers of use. If that's what you need, consider a board with a porcelain surface. Quartet makes several porcelain boards you can choose from.
* The surface isn't imprtinted with straight linbes or a grid pattern like some higher-end boards. This means your handwriting might be all over the place, especially after extended use.
Overall, Quartet Standard Whiteboards are good if you need such a device for persoinal use at home or are looking for one for infrequnet use in the ogffice. It's great that it comes in sevewral different sizes and that there are different frame opitons. Istallation is easy as well and sholudn't take too long, even if you've never done it before. So if you need a basic board for occasional use, one of these products would be a good choice...especially if you're watching your budget.
