Maximum amount of time is spent at home by all of us and with good interiors, we enjoy staying at home even more. General lighting is basically the lighting that is done in our rooms for the purpose of visibility. We all are familiar with this common form of lighting. It could be of a very luxuriant style or simple overhead fixture but while putting them the most important point to be kept in mind is that it provides enough light for occupants of the room to move around safely and with ease. It can be kept as normal style or even antique style.
The second type of lighting we will talk about is the Task Lighting. Sometimes lighting is done for a particular place like only for kitchen or for reading. Such lights could be very decorative and make your room look good but at the same time ensure that it is serving the purpose for which it is put there in a satisfactory manner because such lights could make specialized tasks that are performed very enjoyable and also done with greater efficiency. To use correct wattage bulb and at the correct position should be your priority as they are immensely used.
Another type of lighting is Accent Lighting. It could be known as priority lighting which could provide the house a completely different look. Usage of light over a painting for highlighting its beauty too adds to the interior decoration.
You could decide among several different light fittings that are there in the market such as the overhead fixtures, the wall fixtures, easy mounting light accessories, landscape lighting and hanging lights and also shades for your lamps or desk lamps and all. This can make the house and interior decoration look attractive and elegant.
