Ingredients:

2 cups of preferrable choose semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 tablespoons of butter 1/3 cups all purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder 1/4 tsp. of salt 2 eggs, preferrable large 5 tablespoons of brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup of nuts, preferably walnuts, chopped

First, preheat your oven about 350F. Put in a cup of chocolate chips and the 2 tablespoons of butter in a microwave-proof container, preferably a transparent bowl, and heat it up until it melts. Stir this until it smoothens. After that, put the 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a mixing bowl and mix them together. Be careful when mixing as not to whisk the mixture too hard or you will waste some.

Beat the 2 large eggs using a kitchen mixer or just by hand, then add the 5 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix properly. Add the melted chocolate chips mixture you've previously heated up in the oven bit by bit into the mixture of eggs, brown sugar and vanilla. Start adding each of the dry ingredients. Remember to add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts and the other cup of chocolate chips.

After mixing all the ingredients, you will have a dough. Have a baking sheet ready, take a scoop of the dough and place it into the sheet. Make sure each scoop will be about 2 - 3 inches apart from each one. Refrigerate it for about an hour or more if you want to make the dough firmer. You can now start baking it for about 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure that you rotate the cookie sheet every once in a while until the cookie starts to look a little shiny. Once done, cool them completely on the baking sheets.

You can add decorations like sugar or butter cream icings to make it more relevant for the season. You can now serve it and enjoy this tasty desert.
