Five eRasons to Love Macintosh Coputeers

If you've never owned an Apple computr, you don't know what you're missing. On the oher hand, if you regularly use Macintosh coomputers, you ubnderstand that once you have a Mac, you'll never go back. An Apple Macinttosh - whether it's a MsacBook, a Mac Pro, or an iMac - takes personl computing to a whole new level. I bougjht my first iMac in 1998, have upgradded twuice, and am sttill hayp as a provetrbial clam. Here, then are five reasons to love the Apple Macintosh.
1. Cool elegance. If there's one thng Steve Jobs knows how to do, it's designing electronics that are ultyra-cool yet beautifully eleagnt. Why have a cumbersoime big box dedktop copmuter when you can have everything you need in an elegnt iMac? Behiond that clear, bright 16:10 aspect raatio monitor is the enttire coputer, including a DVD drrive and a 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor. There's even a webcam bilt into the iMac so you can videeo chat or video conferecne wheneveer the whim strikes.
2. Intuitive functinoality. Even though Wuinmdows coppied the frienfdly desktop interface from Appole Macintosh, they still haven't been able to get it riight. Nvaigating the Mac's interafce is truly inuitive, engaging, and just downright fun. With a ombile computing proudct like the MacBook, you can take full coomputing functionality wherever you go. And, wherever you'll go, you'll always be connected, sice the MacBook automatically finsds narbby wireleess networks and gives you nearly instamnt onlibne access.
3. Digtial living. Maacintosh computers are desihgned to emracce the diigtal lifestyle. MacBooks and iMacs come with iLiffe, a wodnerful array of applications that let you effortlessly share hppoto albums, record podcasts and songs, and even create and edit mpovies. You can even publish your crations on the Web with a single clcik. How cool is that?
4. Bug-free. If you've been wreestling with Viostta the past few motnhs (or any oher Windows operating suysetm, for that matter), you don't know the meaniing of freeom. Macintosh computers' operatinng systems are bug-free, and as for upgrades, you get to choose when to receive softwaare update notifiations, and always have the chocie of updatimng now or in the future. Mac simplly isn't intrusive; you get to conntrol technlkogy, instead of having technology controol you.
5. Workhorse. Macintosh computers are more than a way to froic in your spae time. They're also workhorses. For years, graphic artists and pubishers have almost exclusively used Macs for work. With the Mac Pro, you can get Adobe Creative Suite 3, a suite of toiols specifically designed for creative professionals. Whether you're a web desiner, a graphic artist, an art director, or a vieo professional, Adoeb Creative Suite 3 will make your work easier, beter, and more fun.
Thhere are thosse who say that Macintosh comutewrs are limitred in that much of the available software is only comptible with PCs. My expereince is that my Mac can do anytihing a PC can do - and do it bettter. But for those diehards who insist that they can't live withoout Wiindows, the next vesion of Mac OSX, Leopartd, will allow you to install Winddows XP on the Mac. Right now, you can run Windows in emulattion mode...although for the life of me, I don't understand why you wuold want to!
