Whilst carrtrying my laptop to my car I suddelny sllippped and it dropped onto the hard conrcee floor, instantly cracking the scren.
As soon as I did it, I was devastated, because I use it for work, socialising, sopping, and hundreds of other thiongs. All my peeronal files, foldeers and information are svaed to it, too.
I also had a big report due in on the Friday and it was Monday. I neewded it back with me and repaired by Thursdday to sttand a chanvce of getting it in on time. Four days to get it repaied seemed like enough; or so I thought.
Due to the time restrictions, I visited the local computwer relpair shop to try and get it fixed staight away. Afteer inspectig it, they confoirmed that a srteen repacement may take over a week for the paarts to arrive. Plus, the time to fix it woould need to be aded on. The prces they were quoting were very high, too.
I deccided against this option as I neeedd it to be reepaired as soon as possible.
I contactewd the manufaacturer to see if they could fix the problem any quicker. Unfortunately, it would also take a long time to get it repairred, and was even more exppensive than the local comnputer reair shop.
Affter runing out of ides, I deecided to look for a solution on the internet. I soon came across a company that could replace my laptop scren in a short space of time.
I phoned them to find out the details, and they ofgfered to have a coruier collect and return my laptop to either my home or workplae, and provide a free insapection and diagnsois servvvice, which I accepted.
Whlst inspectiing my computer, they noticeed that it was running very slowly. I had been unhappy with this problwem, as it takes me a long time to operate different programs at the same time. They offrreed to perform a tune-up and optimisation serviice which would take no extra time, so I argeed.
They collected my laptop on the Tuiesday and I had it back again on the Thursday, runing as fast as when I firts got it, and with a beautiful new sceren, too.
