For those who are considering to quit their jobs at the office, try to consider some of the advantages and disadvantages of having a home based job before doing so.
ADVANTAGES
Liberty – Many people love having this kind of job because of the freedom that they can enjoy.
You will not have someone who bosses you around and you will not be under a corporate culture, plus you dont have to deal with the office politics and you also have your own schedule.
Despite these things, you are still required to do your job, otherwise, your business will go bankrupt or you may lose your job.
Financial Liberty - One more advantage of working at home is to have financial liberty since you will not be leaving your home and going to your work place since your home is your own workplace.
Plus, you wont be spending on transportation costs and you wont be just hanging out with your friends all the time and be tempted to shop till you drop.
Working at home lets you stay focused on your job even without having to spend on anything beyond your daily household budget.
Obviously, this is great! The money you earn from working at home wont be deducted so you can enjoy all of it.
You can be able to spend time with your family and friends when you work at home.
DISADVANTAGES
Questions - When you work at home, no one will be able to guide you or help you on your task or work and you are not able to share your workload to others.
Every now and then, you can be interrupted easily when you do your work at home.
It could be a phone call from a neighbor, children begging you to take them to the movie or some friends who have decided they want to hang out at your place.
Absence - Probably one of the biggest disadvantages of working at home is having little chance to take a vacation because usually, nobody is available to take your place.
There are always two sides of every story. The things mentioned are just some of the pros and cons of having a home based job. It is not your call whether to go for it or to continue with your current job.
