Love is regarded by many the most mysterious, mystical and complex emotion felt by humans and even other animals. Actually, many people would say that love is so mysterious that it has no definition.
The three types of love is the focus of this article.

Eros - This love is regarded as the "erotic love". This is the feeling between the two people for each other. This feeling is intense in character and is strong. This type of love focuses or is more based on the physical. Many people see this kind of love as selfish since it is based on desire and what benefits one can get from the other. Everyone should be careful with this type of love. Many people mistake this as being true love though it is still love.
Philos - This type of love is very common to friends and best friends. This love is based on the friendship between the two people share. Lovers who started out as close friends have a longer relationship than others and this kind of love is the evidence.
Marriage, family relationship, co-workers relationship and boyfriend-girlfriend relationship will be strengthened if the foundation is friendship. What is good about Philos love is that, the two couple gets to know each other's character, likes and dislikes before they are engaged in a deeper relationship therefore lessening the chances of fight and arguments. The two people only sees the positive side of their partners in Philos.
Agape Love - This is the purest and the most real among all kinds of love. It is also called as the unconditional love. With the three kinds, Agape love tops over the rest. Agape love is selfless. To put differently, one can love someone without asking for something in return. Or, you, helping another person even though that person is cursing you or has done bad to you, you still do good for that person without thinking about what he did or waiting for something in return. Agape love is also shown when a son or daughter takes care of his or her parents as they grow old.
Those three are the three types of love we have in this world. Love inspires and helps people persevere in hardships and troubles. After all, people are born in this world because of this.
