Dog is a person's closest friend, right? Definitely not, if you have a doggy who is destroying your own furnishings, won't stop barking, or attempting to nip you.. Fear not, though, because by utilizing the following doggy behavior tips, you can turn your grouchy pup into a happy, loving pup!

Tip one: Show em' whose boss!

That you are his master has to be proven to your dog and not the opposite. This does not suggest you need to be cruel or violent to your pet in any way. Just like you do with your child , you need to apply house restrictions and also stick to them, with a consequence if your dog doesn't follow this. Once you have proven being the head honcho, it will be much simpler to coach your dog.

Tip two: Show that you care!

Similar to us, pet dogs also want affection, attention and adoration. If you disregard your dog by never ever spending time with him or loving him, then he will be less likely to respond to your directions.

Tip three: Don't complain!

Be patient with your pup. Your coaching is newer to him, and he may not learn right away. Even though you may feel frustrated, that does not mean you should withhold affection. Be patient and let your puppy time to adjust to the new rules. With perseverance your efforts will certainly pay off in the end. In the meantime, don't complain and think to offer pup lots of love!

Tip four: Give em' a bone!

Rewards are great. They work for persons, therefore why wouldn't they work for your dog? When you see your dog doing something well, give him a treat! . If you offer your dog goodies when he behaves, you will condition him to perform the positive habits over and over again. Eventually, the good behavior will become second nature to your dog and you will no longer need to hand out treats.

On the other hand, if your dog misbehaves, like leaping on you when you enter the house; you must make sure you do not encourage him through praise or petting. A person usually wouldn't like his pet to get any kind of bad habit specially after the result of a good response.

Carry out these ideas and you are well on your way to your puppies training. See below for further information on fixing specific dogs behavior issues. Turn Fido from an annoying yipper-yapper into good pup with these beneficial tips!
