Why do I get lines and wrinkles on my skin?

These areas of over-use are damaged easily and permanent lines are formed. After Botox treatment, the lines will soften and can eventually fade away. The results vary from person to person depending on the number of injections.
Is Botox right for me?
Botox is popular with adults aged 18-65. It shouldn't be used by children. Men and women in their 20s use Botox to prevent expression lines. How is Botox used?
Botox is used to treat patients with eye splints, spasmodic neck, writers cramp, multiple sclerosis, facial spasms, Parkinson's Disease and cerebral palsy, to name but a few. The most common use of Botox is to relieve frowning or squinting, to reduce frown lines between the brows, forehead furrows, and lines at the outer edge of the eye. It is also used to treat excessive sweating under the armpits and migraine.
What happens during the treatment?

A short needle is used to inject the Botox in small quantities into the muscles that are creating the furrows. The discomfort is negligible.
How long does the procedure take?
Botox is the classic lunch break treatment. It causes no disruption to your working day and can be comfortably completed within 10 minutes. Most patients can immediately resume normal activities, although there may be some swelling, bleeding, bruising or redness at the injection site. In extreme cases, this can last up to 48 hours.
How long does the treatment last?
You will see the benefits of the treatment within 14 days. The treatment lasts for between three to six months, depending on the individual.
Are there any side-effects?
Side-effects are rare. The most common side-effect is the occasional drooping of an eyelid. This can last for several weeks, but can be treated with eye drops and will disappear. There are very rare cases of a patient developing an allergy to the treatment.
