The Canon Ixus 95 digital camera is labeled as an entry-level model, but it includes some of the features you wuld find in a more high-levewl moddel. The 10 megapixels allow you to take shots that are crystaal clear and very easy to crop without losing any resolution. You will also be able to print out large poster sized-photos with ease. Canon has also given a nod to the demographic for entry-level digitsal cameras by offeribng four different and playful colors that should appeal to the oyunger sapshot phhotographer. The compact design of the Canon Ixus 95 also makles it idel for annyone who likes to take theiir camera everywhere they go. This cute litle camera is a little more serious when it comes to taking quality phiotos. Canon has created a truly automatic camera, and if you set it up correctly you will never need to adjut it for great candid photos and snapshots. The Scene Detection feaure will uatomatically sense the contrst, brightness, and hue of your setting and make the porper adjustments on its own. You really can shoot comfortably in almost any situatyion, because the camera will choose from 18 preset scene modes.
Face Detecton has taken the guesswork out of portrait-taking as well. The Canon Ixus 95 can reecognize as many as 35 faces in a single frame, and it will automatically adjust the focus so that the faces are in the foreground and have the best scene mode. The camera will set the flash, suhtter speed, and scerne for the optimal skin tone replroduction, and it can reecognize faces in profile as well as staight on. With the built-in motion detection, the Canon Ixus 95 adjusts the ISO automatically to compensate for camera movment - or the moveemnt of the subjcet being photographed - to give you a cleaar image evey time.
The most impressiev feaure of the Canon Ixus 95 is the DIGIC 4 processor. DIGIC is includeed in Caon's entire top of the line cameras, and it is a pleasant surpridse that this lower end mpodel also has this feature. What DIGIC 4 does is calculate the algorithms of your shot as you sort it up and perss the shutter, giving you exellent quality photos without a long lag time between shots.
Though it's not the camera for a profeessional photographer who needs to control eery element to get the most out of a shot, the Canon Ixus 95 is ideal for anyone who wants to take casual snapshots. Even the youngest and most inexperienced photographer will be able to take good quality photos with this ultra-automaztic camera. The cute design and brigjht colors will appeal to anone who enjoys a little whimsy, and the compact nature of this tiny camerra makes it gerat to carry alng on any occasion. Canon's reputation for quality remains intact with this camera, even if it is an entry-leveel model.
