Radio has risen to a brand new level. Using your PC, laptop or your Smart Phone you can access Pandora® Internet Radio. Their one and only mission is: "to play only music you'll love". They are quite successful at this. You can create up to 100 unique "stations" that will only play the music that you love, to fit your mood at any particular time you choose...and it's all commercial-limited.
Pandora has been hard at work on the Music Genome Project since its inception back in 2000. How does it work? Well, Pandora has a team of 50 musician-analysts that have been listening to music, one song at a time, and studying and collecting as much musical information as possible on each and every song. It takes somewhere around 30 minutes per song to capture all of the information, which includes all the details that are found in each recording. This includes information on the lyrics, the vocals, the melody, the harmony, the rhythm, the instrumentation etc. There are close to 400 attributes of each recorded song that are gathered and filed. Pandora keeps up with every single bit of music being produced in studios and garages around the country, adding them to their vast playlist.

You don't have to turn dials or station surf to find the genre that you prefer to listen to. Once you create a FREE account, you can just enter the name of an artist or song that you love and Pandora will scan its repertoire to only provide you with a collection of songs that are similar to what you like. This includes close to a century of recordings and not just today's hits. Pandora looks to all of the recordings ever made and creates a listening experience combining all the new and old, the most popular and the least-known recordings. Many of these are songs you may have never heard of, but that doesn't mean that it won't soon become a favorite of yours. And, if you find that your "station" is not quite what you want, then you can refine it to exactly match your taste. The goal is this: to only provide you music that you genuinely enjoy listening to.
