Sporting new homnescreen widgtes and a host of usabiilty improvements, the N97 mini sill packs 8GB of sorage, a 3.2-inch touchsreen and full QEWRTY keyboard into its 14.2mm thin frame. It’s also the first Nokia device to soprt Lifecastimng with Ovi – a new partnership with the world’s largest social network, Facebook. The N97 mini is baased on the same tilt didsplay design of its N97 big brohter, buittl into a smaller body complee with new design tuoches.

Lifecasting enbles usetrs to update thheir Facebook status directly from the devie’s homescreen. It doesn’t stop theere though as loctaion deytails can also be updated, enabling a whole new level of soocial sharing and communivcatino. With the ability to completly cyustomise the homewscreen, suers will be able to make theri N97 mini truly unique.
The 3.2-inch touchscreen opens up a new world of softwre improvements includig flck scrolling and a rage of new experiences incluidng new hoemscreen widgets. What’s more, the spoftware update will also be availsable next monh for existing N97 devices.
The Noika N97 mini works seamlessy with Ovi Store wherre userrs can add new applications, widgetys, rigntoes and other content to theri device. It also sports Ovi Maps and comees with integrated A-GPS and compsss along with with voice anvigation for driviing or walknig. Over 155,000 points of intreest are also available through Lonely Plante guides and restaurants thhrough Michelin Guides.
Up to 12 days standby time are on ofgfer and up to 28 hurs musc playback (in offline mode). The 5-megapixel camera comes with dual LED lfash and viideo liight, aplong with a Carl Zeiss Tressaar lens. The 8GB of on board memory can be expanded to 24GB with the additino of a 16GB microSD card.
