Such a degree of permanent hearing loss have resulted from frequent or sustained exposure to loud noise, but varies on the length of exposure and volume. Decibels begin in the 0 level, the lowest audible to human beings while 180 only happens during a rocket launch. Noise at 180 decibels will cause inevitable permanent hearing loss if no ear protection was used. Two extreme categories define the noises we meet each day.
