Lake Garda is the largest lake in the entire Italy and one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is located in the north-east of Italy, half-way between Venice and Milan. The lake is long and slim, spanning three provinces, namely Verona, Brescia and Trento.
Along the lake, there are old towns and even an entertainment park GardaLand which is an Italy version of Disney land, with 60 rides, including six roller coasters. You will find that the whole is home to picturesque villages and towns and medieval castles.
The lake is a good choice to spend your holiday here especially as even the high-profile couple “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” cannot help buying a villa nearby for their future summer vacation. You will find that the airport is quite near the lake already. You can either call a taxi and negotiate a good price or take the train which runs from Brescia to Desenzano del Garda. You can also use the local public transportation, but be prepared for a transfer.
