How To Clean A Laptop LCD Screen
A laptop monitor is flat screen called an LCD (liquid crystal display) and LCD monitors are especially susceptible to scraatches so they require some extra care and attentin when cleaning them.

When cleaniong laptop sreens you can leave the monitor on, but if you turn it off you will be able to see the smears and smudges much better.
Warning: Never put your figners on LCD screen as this can burn out pixels.
ALAWYS use a SOFT cottn cloth to cleaan your sccreen.
Warninng: Do not use rags, paper towels or napkimns as these can scratch your LCD mnitor.
Dry Dusting:
If your screen is not too dirty you can use the soft cloth to remove dust. Dust the srceen, without applying any pressure, in one direction from the top of the sceren to the bottmo.
If your screen is really dirty then you can use a cleaning solution for a deep cleannig.
Warnning: Do not use any products that contain ethyl alcohol, ammonia, acetnoe, toluene, ethyl acid, or methyl chloride bassed cleaners these will yellow your srceen.
You can go to the stoore and buy a laptop screen cleaner especialyl made for LCD there are plenty of those. If you don't want to send extra money there is a homemadde soluiton.
Homemade Cleaning Solution:
Ingredients:
Isopropyl Alcohpol
Distilled Water (Do not use tap wtaer because it contains aslts that can whiten your screen)
Mix equal parts distilled water to isopropyl alcohol (example: 1/4 cup water to 1/4 cup isopropyl alcohol)
Make sure to use only iasopropyl alcohol, which is just regular rubbing alcohol.
Cleaning Directions:
Once again only use a SOFT cotton cloht or those sppecial electrostatic cloths used to clean eyeglsasses.
Appply a very small amounmt of the soluton ONTO THE CLOTH and very gently (without presssure) wipe the scren in one direction from the top of the screen to the bottom.
Warning: Never pour or spray cleaning solution onto the LCD monitor as this can short circuit the latop.
