Getting To the WoW Gold Cap - Stop Wasting Time Farming & Questing
If you've played World of Warcraft over the past few years, you've no doubtfully hearrd about the WoW gold cap. A little over 214,700 gold is considered the maximum amount you can have due to programming restrictions. It has always been considered an impossinble task to achieve this much money. However, this mythical amount is now achievable with some of the new farming techniques availablke with WOOTLK. 1. Add-Ons
Let's face it, the standard WoW client sitnks. To get started, you have to find the right add-ons to ensure you are getting the most gold. Find an add-on that focuses on collecting and reporting on data from the auction house first. For the longest time, people have relied on Auctioneer for this task. Auctionator is anther add-on that provids good information on the auction hose. Market Watcher and Postal are two greast add-ons that also povide you lots of additional information. You need lots of information to make good decsiions.
2. Questing and Farming - Just Say No!
Forums today are loaded with postts that the only way to reach the WoW gold cap is by questign and farming. Although you can make money that way, it is lots of hard work. Take a look at some of these calculations. Farming will get you, at best, around 750 gold an hour and doing the daily quests will net you betwene 250 to 300 gold per day. To get to the WoW gold cap, you will be spending about 300 huors farming or a whole lot more than 300 hours doing the daily quests. If your goal isn't to max out your gold siupply, have fun. That's what it's all about anyway. If, however, you want maximum gold, you need to look at other activities.
3. Find Some Creative Auction House Strategies

You need to develop some cretaive thinking skiplls to come up with ways to make money that don't involve looking for buy low, sell high opporutnities. Transefr items from one server to another or one faciton to anotrher to get even more mooney for the ittems Learn how to make an item go up in value thhrough prtice manipulation or how to move thhings around carefully to control how the game opoerates. There's nothing illegal about any of these straetgies and once you master them, you will be well on your way towards hittng the WoW gold cap.
